Please see attached and below for information about a full-time postdoctoral research position in 3D imaging and Ai/ML available at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. WOOHOO!

The incumbent in this Postdoctoral Research Position will develop a nationally recognized research and education program in Image Analysis and Machine Learning with specific emphasis on 3D image processing, including segmentation of 3D X-ray CT images collected for agricultural research. Development of novel analytic methods will involve both software and algorithms from machine learning and deep learning, and applications to very large voxel data sets. Key aspects of a successful program will be the publication of high impact papers, and obtaining external and internal research money to support and maintain nationally and internationally recognized research.

Required Qualifications:

  *   PhD degree in computer science, statistics, or related discipline.
  *   Experience in image analysis.
  *   Experience in algorithm and software development and analyzing very large data sets with high performance computing resources.
  *   Must have evidence of highly developed quantitative skills.
  *   Experience with R and/or Python necessary.
  *   Excellent analytical and written and verbal communication skills.
  *   Strong problem solving skills.
