[Cyverse.Nappn] Call for NAPPN Annual Meeting Satellite Events

[Jennifer Clarke]

Dear NAPPN Members

Planning for the 2022 NAPPN Annual Meeting is well underway. The conference is planned for February 22-25, 2022 at the Conference Center associated with the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia).

If you would like to hold a Pre- (February 21, 2022) or Post- Conference Satellite Event (February 25, 2022) on the University of Georgia campus (e.g. paid workshops, project meeting) and want participants to register for these events, please email Malia Gehan (mgehan at danforthcenter.org) by August 4, 2021, so that these events can be included when registration for the meeting opens.

There will be no financial support from NAPPN for these satellite events. However, you will control who is eligible to attend. We will help to coordinate reservation of rooms/equipment/refreshments necessary for these events, if desired.

Information needed for a pre- and post- conference satellite event:

  *   Event description
  * Expected number of participants (or if there is a cap on participants)
  *   Length/Time of event
  * Cost for participants (if you want there to be a cost associated with registering)
     * Costs to consider, coffee/refreshments, AV needs, special room needs, connectivity needs (wifi etc).

Thank you!

Jennifer
