There's not a way to change the value of the expiration time when requesting a token. Once the token expires you can use the refresh token to get a fresh token, and this can be scripted to provide indefinite access. Would this solve your use case?

Subject: [Iplant-api-dev] Agave token expires_in - how to change default
Agave returns a value in seconds for 'expires_in' when a token is requested (http://agaveapi.co/authentication-token-management/), but I don't see how to change this default in a Curl request - under Foundation I could do this with 'lifetime'.
Thanks,
