[Iplant-api-dev] iPlant maintenance, Thursday, December 20 on 9a-12p MST: Atmosphere, mail services, and Shibboleth/CAS

iPlant will perform maintenance on Thursday, December 20th between 9am-12pm
MST on the following systems:

   - Atmosphere: This is a patch release for Atmosphere Airport and web
   components only and should not affect existing virtual machines that are
   running at the time of the maintenance.  During the maintenance, users can
   continue accessing their VMs with SSH or VNC using external client
   software, such as putty, terminal, or realvnc.  You may request imaging if
   you prefer to backup your VM before the maintenance.


   - iplantcollaborative.org and mail services: This maintenance will
   affect e-mail traffic, including mailing lists and
   iplantcollaborative.org email addresses.  No mail should be lost during
   the maintenance, and iplantcollaborative.org email should resume after
   the maintenance.


   - Shibboleth and CAS Authentication:  Web authentication services will
   be offline to add additional storage.  This outage will affect web-based
   applications that depend on CAS or Shibboleth, including the Discovery
   Environment.  Existing Discovery Environment jobs submitted before the
   maintenance will continue to run.  This maintenance should NOT affect the
   iPlant Data Store, Foundational API, DNA Subway,
integratedbreeding.orgor SSWAP.
