[Cyverse.Nappn] Fw: CSIRO Postdoc opportunity in farming systems design

[Deery, David (A&F, Black Mountain)]

Hi everyone,

Please forward this post doc opportunity amongst your networks. I think this is an exciting opportunity for a recent PhD graduate.

The person will need:

  * Demonstrated understanding of the drivers of productivity and profitability in agricultural systems.
  * Demonstrated understanding of farming systems, and familiarity with the use of advanced crop modelling (e.g. APSIM, DSSAT, AquaCrop) and proximal sensing monitoring techniques (e.g. CropCircle).
  * Awareness of multi species cropping systems, and the advantages they may bring to agriculture.

Applications close 9 May - see this link: CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship in Farming System Design<https://jobs.csiro.au/job/Postdoctoral-Fellowship/801733800/>

Many thanks
David
