Dear Friends,



This is just a gentle reminder that the paper submission deadline for the
Second International Workshop

on Machine Learning for Cyber-Agricultural Systems (MLCAS 2019) is fast
approaching.

Due to multiple requests, we are moving the *paper submission deadline to
July 22, 2019*, which would be a

firm deadline. Selected papers will be invited to a Special Issue in Plant
Phenomics (https://spj.sciencemag.org/plantphenomics/).

We are also happy to announce that student/early career researcher authors
of the top three

papers will receive travel grants as listed below (Note that the amounts
listed below are per paper, not individual

authors)

Also, our competition (Sorghum head detection challenge) submission
deadline will be extended to *July 28, 2019*.
