[Iplant-api-dev] no jobs have completed since tuesday

Hi Rion,

Is this the time set by the requested time parameter? If it is, I will increase this. But wouldn't this affect only jobs which are actually "RUNNING" for more than this time? Shouldn't jobs which are "ARCHIVING" be allowed to finish archiving? And jobs which haven't even been queued yet, ie. still in PENDNING, are also impacted by this time? I mean, I know how long I should expect a job to actually run, but I can't control how long it might be in PENDING, right? This is very strange because nothing has changed on our end, we are sending the exact same job requests we have been sending for months.

Thank you,
Mohammed

It looks like all your jobs are timing out due to the time limit being exceeded. For example, here is the error file from job 44489

Hi,

On Tuesday I noticed my jobs were not going through, I thought it was due to maintenance or something so I ignored it. But I'm looking at the monitor today, and not a single job since then has completed. Many from Tuesday and Wednesday are stuck on "ARCHIVING". The rest (wed and today) are stuck on "PENDING". Why is this happening?

Thank you,
Mohammed
