A new update to the Foundation API was released today. The primary focus of this release was adding support for the new Stampede<http://www.tacc.utexas.edu/resources/hpc/#stampede> cluster at TACC to the list of available resources in anticipation of the decommissioning of Ranger on February 4th, 2013. The Foundation team is working to port all existing public applications to the new system. To view the applications currently available on Stampede, consult the app service at:
https://foundation.iplantcollaborative.org/apps-v1/apps/system/stampede.tacc.xsede.org
Application registration for Stampede is the same as for any other cluster. Leveraging the Xeon Phi coprocessors and/or NVIDIA Kepler accelerators can be accomplished via your wrapper scripts. Detailed usage information is available here<http://www.tacc.utexas.edu/user-services/user-guides/stampede-user-guide>. To view the complete list of systems available via the Foundation API, consult the systems service at:
https://foundation.iplantcollaborative.org/apps-v1/systems/list
We do not anticipate any disruptions in service during this transition phase, however if you do experience any problems, please don't hesitate to notify us.
Sincerely,
The Foundation API dev Team
